Grammar accuracy (B1)

This part tests your ability to recognize and use correct grammatical forms to express intentions at the B1 level.

The good news is that minor grammar mistakes should not completely prevent understanding, as long as communication is maintained.

Structure of the exam module

  • The section consists of 8 to 11 tasks that can be completed in any order.
  • Tasks are based on both prepared instructional texts and authentic Polish materials.
  • Depending on difficulty, individual grammatical operations are scored with fractions (0.25, 0.5, 0.75) or 1 full point.

Typical task types

  • Multiple choice: selecting the correct form from given options or filling gaps with words from a box (some words might be extra).
  • Transformations: morphological, syntactic, word-formation changes, and rewriting whole sentences.
  • Gap-fills: completing partial gaps (e.g. word endings) or full gaps (entire words).
